'Empowering and creating confident girls'

We provide fun and engaging well-being workshops for young girls aged 7-11 years old.
Our mission is to improve and positively affect the overall emotional well-being and the personal development of young girls.

Our workshops will equip them with the necessary skills that will build their self-esteem and help them to navigate through their adolescence journey.

  • The good child report (2021) identified that there are significant differences in the well-being between boys and girls, with girls more likely to report lower well-being across a range of factors.

  • The report identified that girls aged 10-13 are significantly less satisfied with their appearance, body and self-confidence than boys in England.

  • The Department of Education and the Department of Health both outline the importance of promoting well-being in children and the positive impact it can have on mental health, social skills, confidence building and academic achievement.

We use fun and interactive activities covering a range of topics. We incorporate our teaching based on the below positive psychology principles.

  • Positive emotions - Helping them to feel good within themselves.

  • Engagement - Absorbing activities to keep them engaged.

  • Relationships - Building the right connections in the right way.

  • Meaning - Helping them to see that they have a great purpose in life.

  • Achievement - Giving them a sense of achievement.

  • Say no to frenemies - The girls will explore elements that make a healthy and positive friendship in a fun and engaging way. They will learn and develop the ability to form positive friendships and learn how to deal with those all-important friendship issues.

  • Girl bounce back - Learning all about resilience and having a growth mindset. The girls will learn how to persevere and stay calm when they encounter setbacks.  They will no longer say 'I can't and will learn how to master the word 'yet'.

  • The best of me - With all the pressures from the outside world and social media girls need that reassurance that they are great just the way they are.  We teach the girls to recognise, identify and embrace their identity and inner beauty so that they can feel confident in their own skin.

  • Dream big girl - Girls can sometimes feel like they are not good enough or struggle to see what's achievable in life. Our vision board workshops will allow them to dream big and let their imaginations run wild whilst giving them the tools to set achievable goals.

Each workshop lasts between 90-120 minutes long.
The workshops are suitable for girls in KS2 and can accommodate 25 girls per session.

You can book individual workshops to suit your organisational needs.

On completion of the workshop, the girls will receive a certificate of attendance.

Why not book our full-day EmpowerHER workshop which will include all four topics.   With this workshop, the girls will receive a certificate and a goodie bag.

Staff hold enhanced DBS certificates and are trained in safeguarding and first aid.
