💜 A Summer of Serenity For Girls — and What's Coming Next

What we've been up to, what's changing and some exciting things on the horizon...
The summer has been a really busy one for us, and as we head into September, I wanted to take a little moment to share what we've been up to, what's happening behind the scenes and some of the exciting things we have coming up.
🏖️ GIRLS HAF (Holiday, activities and Food) Camp Summer 2026
The biggest part of our summer was our first GIRLS holiday camp, where we welcomed girls for 10 days of activities, experiences, creativity, confidence-building and lots of fun.
Across the programme, we tried a bit of everything!
🎭 Play in a Day
🥗 Food Detective & Healthy Snack Challenge
🌿 Nature, crafts & outdoor activities
🌸 Flower arranging
🎨 Chat 'N' Paint
❤️ CPR & basic life skills
🥊 Self-defence & setting boundaries
🧁 Cupcake decorating
👗 Confidence Runway & our very own mini Graduation
The girls were also gifted with their very own journal, which they really enjoyed completing.
But honestly, the activities were only part of it.
One of my favourite things about running this holiday programme is watching the girls gradually become more comfortable, more confident and more willing to get involved.
Some girls walk through the door on day one barely knowing anyone, and by the end they're laughing together, trying things they hadn't done before and cheering each other on.
That's the bit that means the most to me. 💜
We also ended each day with time in their own journal, giving the girls a chance to slow down, reflect and think about their day. Because I didn't want the holiday club to just be somewhere girls come to do activities. I want it to be somewhere they could connect, create, learn, grow and feel good about themselves.

🌸 Our Girls Club is entering a new chapter
Some of you will know that we also have our Serenity For Girls Saturday Club.
Over the summer, I've been thinking a lot about how we can make the club work even better for our girls and their families.
We've had some really valuable feedback from parents, particularly around affordability, and it's made me take a step back and think about what the next version of the Girls Club should look like.
Rather than continuing with our previous Saturday model, we're now exploring a new after-school Girls Club.
We're looking at things such as:
📍 Venue
🕒 Days and timings
I want to create something that is accessible for families whilst also being sustainable for us, because ultimately that is what will allow us to keep providing opportunities for girls long-term.
So our Girls Club isn't disappearing.
It's pausing and evolving. 💜
We'll be sharing more information once we've worked out the details.
🔬 Something very exciting is coming...
STEM Sisters: Girls in STEM Adventure!
I'm also incredibly excited to be getting ready to launch our brand new STEM Sisters: Girls in STEM Adventure after-school programme.
This is a FREE 10-week after-school programme for girls aged 7–12, funded by Millennium Point Trust.
Over the 10 weeks, the girls will get to:
🔬 Investigate science
💻 Explore coding
⚙️ Discover engineering
💡Get creative with technology
🌱 Explore renewable energy
🧪 Take part in hands-on challenges
But there's something else I'm particularly excited about.
I want the girls to meet real women working in STEM.
People who can say:
“This is what I do.”
“This is how I got here.”
“And yes — you can do this too.”
We're already speaking to local schools about potentially hosting the programme, and I'm also reaching out to STEM professionals and organisations who might like to get involved.
So if you work in STEM — or know someone who would be amazing for our girls to meet — I'd love to hear from you! 💜
We're looking for more partnerships too!
As Serenity For Girls continues to grow, I'm also starting to think much bigger about how we can create long-term opportunities for girls, rather than simply running one programme and moving on to the next.
That means building relationships with:
🏫 Schools
💼 Businesses
🔬 STEM organisations
🤝 Community organisations
👩🏽💼 Women who can share their experiences
💜 Organisations who want to invest in girls
There are so many ways people can get involved, from sharing expertise or running a workshop to providing resources, experiences, introductions or financial support.
And I'm really excited to see where some of these conversations could lead.

So, that's a little look at what we've been doing and what's happening behind the scenes.
This summer has reminded me exactly why I started Serenity For Girls in the first place.
There is so much potential to create amazing opportunities for girls, and I'm really excited about how we can support this.
We're not just thinking about the next session anymore.
We're thinking about what Serenity For Girls could become and how many more girls we could reach.
And I'm really excited to bring you along for the journey. 💜
