Proud of Our Girls, Proud of Our Club ❤️

Last weekend I attended the Club Hub Awards, and honestly, it was such a lovely day.

Of course, like anyone who gets nominated, we would have loved to win our category, but when I look back on the day, there was something else that happened that made me smile.

Before I left for the awards, I asked the girls why they think we should win.

They each shared little messages and speeches about why they thought our club should win, and honestly… it was so lovely to listen to.

Hearing them talk about the club, what it means to them, the friendships they’ve made and how much their confidence has grown genuinely reminded me why we started all of this in the first place.

Sometimes when you run a club or business, you get so focused on trying to do everything right, helping everyone, planning sessions, sorting events and constantly thinking about what more you could be doing. So to hear the girls speak so proudly and confidently about the club was really special.

It reminded me that the little things matter more than we probably realise.

The safe space. The laughs every week. Witnessing the girls supporting each other. The confidence that slowly builds over time.

That’s the real reason the club exists. The actual awards event was amazing, too. It was lovely meeting so many inspiring people and seeing just how many incredible clubs, organisations and businesses are out there making such a positive difference for children and families in so many different ways.

And a huge congratulations to all of the deserving winners and the other finalists as well.

Even though we didn’t come home with the award, I honestly came home feeling really proud.

Proud of the girls.

Proud of how far the club has come.

And proud that we’ve created something that means so much to the children who attend.

Here are some of the lovely messages from the girls 👇🏾

If you’d love your daughter to be part of a supportive, welcoming club where she can build confidence, make friendships and just be herself, we’d absolutely love to welcome her along.

We offer trial sessions so girls can come and experience the club before committing, meet the other girls and see what we’re all about in a relaxed and friendly environment.
