The S4G Girls Club is coming back!

Hello June! Big News, Big Energy 🌼

I know we’re already halfway through June (where is the time going?!), but I couldn’t let this month pass without popping in with some lovely updates and a whole lot of gratitude 💛

First things first, we’ve secured not one, but TWO grants.

One from the Heart of England Community Fund and one from the SCVO Sandwell!

This is a huge step forward and means that… drumroll please… the Serenity for Girls Club is officially coming back this September (maybe even sooner, depending on planning)!

Imagine a space where your girl can truly grow bold, show up fully, and have fun doing it. That’s what we’re building.

This is her space, a club designed just for girls aged 7–12 in the Sandwell area to reconnect with themselves and others.

Through creative sessions, real chats, movement, and confidence boosts, they’ll explore who they are and feel truly seen, heard, and supported.

We’re talking:

  • Confidence – Activities that help her believe in who she is.

  • 🫶 Connection – Small group chats and real friendships.

  • 🎨 Creativity – Hands-on fun with crafts, art and more.

All of it inspired by my signature G.I.R.L.S. Programme - Growth • Identity • Resilience • Leadership • Self-worth

On top of that, I’m buzzing to share that Serenity for Girls CIC has been shortlisted for a Female Business Award, recognising our services to the local community 🏆

This feels like a moment to pause and celebrate how far we’ve come!

Now, I won’t lie it's been tough doing this while still working full-time as a nurse.

But this project is my passion, and every step forward feels so worth it. The community we’re building for our girls will empower them long into the future 💪

✨ Little tip of the month to encourage your girl to do a little “Confidence Check-In” each week, ask her:

💬 What made you proud this week?💬

When did you feel most like yourself?

Why? Because small reflections equal big growth.

🚨 Interested in the Girls Club? I’m putting together a list of those who’d like to join us when we relaunch.

If that’s you, please fill out this short I’m Interested in the Girls Club form.

Thanks for sticking with me and with Serenity for Girls.
